Henry Ford created the Model T which was a type of car that he made with the Ford Motor Company from 1908 through 1927.
The Model T set 1908 as the historical year that the automobile came into usage. It was the first affordable car, the car
let people travel faster and get to places quicker than before. The very first Model T was built on September 27, 1908 at
the Piquette Plant in Detrioit,Michigan. The Model T was the car of the twenties. The assembly line helped the making of the
Model T out by getting parts assembled faster. He paid the workers a wage relative to the cost of the car. The first year
the car for sale in 1908 it sold for $850, then the price decreased steadily in 1914 the cost was only $490. Then finally
by 1924 the cost of the car was only $295. The car let people live further in the suburbs and still have jobs in the city,
they also allowed more mobility and freedom. The cars increased the demand of oil greatly.
